Sun City Birria is a family owned restaurant at 7246 N Loop Dr, El Paso, Texas. This policy explains what we collect when you order from us or join our rewards program, what we do with it, and how to tell us to stop.
What we collect
- Your name and phone number, when you place an order or join the rewards program. The phone number is also how the rewards program recognizes you.
- Your order: what you bought, when, and the amount charged.
- A delivery address, only when you choose delivery.
- Basic website information, such as which pages were visited and roughly which part of the country the visit came from. We do not use this to identify you personally.
We never see or store your full card number. Card payments are handled entirely by Square, our payment processor, inside their own secure form.
How we use it
- To cook, package and hand over or deliver your order.
- To contact you about that order, including by text message.
- To run the rewards program and apply your points.
- To send you offers and restaurant news by text, but only if you have separately checked the box asking for them.
- To understand how busy we are and what people order, in totals rather than individually.
Text messages
We send two kinds of text message, and they are treated differently.
- About your order. When you place an order you receive one text confirming it, with the approximate time it will be ready or arrive, the amount charged, and links to your receipt and, for delivery, to the courier's tracking page. If you use rewards points we may text you a six-digit code to confirm the phone number is yours.
- Offers and news. Only if you checked the optional box asking for them. That box is never checked for you, and never required in order to place an order.
Message frequency varies. Order messages arrive only when you place an order. Offer messages are occasional, and we do not expect to send more than a few in any month.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from us. Reply HELP for help, or call us at (915) 259-8230. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Who we share information with
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not sell your information. We share only what is needed to complete the thing you asked for:
- Square, our payment processor and register, which handles the payment, the receipt and the rewards program.
- Uber Direct, only when you order delivery, and only your name, delivery address and phone number, so the driver can bring your food and text you about that delivery.
- Twilio, the service that carries our text messages.
- Law enforcement or regulators, if we are legally required to.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as we need them for our books and for tax purposes. Rewards accounts last as long as you use them. Records of who agreed to receive offer texts, and of anyone who asked us to stop, are kept for as long as we run the messaging program, because keeping them is how we honor those choices.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop all messages from us.
- Call us at (915) 259-8230 to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it.
- Ask us to leave your rewards program at any time.
Children
Our website and ordering are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
